Culinary Artistry Since 2016
The Butcher's Pantry & Restaurant has served Solon since 2016, and has been under Brad Kozar's ownership since November 2024. It is a butcher shop, a restaurant and a catering kitchen under one roof, run by classically trained chefs with over 30 years of experience.
We are committed to sustainable practices and whole animal butchering, so every meal is both delicious and responsibly sourced. Our meats and poultry are Ohio farm to table, raised without antibiotics, grass and grain fed, and everything is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients we can source locally.
Whether you're savoring our Texas-style barbecue or ordering a special cut from our butcher shop, you'll taste the difference that quality and passion make. We also have beer, wine, and a fully stocked bar.

The Butcher's Pantry & Restaurant has been part of Solon since 2016. Brad Kozar took ownership in November 2024 and has been building on it ever since, keeping a butcher shop, a restaurant and a catering kitchen under one roof, with whole-animal butchering, Ohio farm-to-table meats raised without antibiotics, and food made from scratch by classically trained chefs with more than thirty years in the kitchen.
Inspired by Paul Newman's model of giving, Brad donates 100% of the profits to charity. Those profits fund the Little Mountain Animal Sanctuary, which he built to carry out his late wife's dream. Saevar Thordarson is an entrepreneur, community leader, and business owner with a passion for creating great experiences and bringing people together. As Operating Partner of The Butcher's Pantry, he brings his experience in business operations, hospitality, marketing, and community engagement to help grow the business while preserving its commitment to quality and community.
Saevar is also the owner of Heritage Coffee and Heritage Bake Shop, and serves as President & CEO of the Solon Chamber of Commerce. He believes strongly in supporting local businesses, giving back to the community, and building businesses with purpose.
